Analysing/Updating the Database

During the first stage of the routine, the Autoline system scans the marketing database for Volvo vehicles and carries out an analysis to see which ones need to be updated and the reason why. This analysis is presented in the form of a Vehicle Load Status Summary.

To analyse the database:

1. From the OPERATIONS menu, select the Vehicle load option.

   The VOLVO VEHICLE LOAD menu is displayed.

2. Select the Convert vehicle data option.

   The system prompts you for a SO company.

3. Select an SO company and click OK.

   The Vehicle Load form is displayed.

4. Select the Analyse database option.

   A message box is invoked displaying the following message:

   Analysis complete

5. Click the OK button.

   The Statistics and Summary tabs are displayed.

6. You may proceed to Update the database or to Print the exception report.
