The Split lines By Menu/Warranty Code option is available when you right-click the Total column in the WIP. It enables you to percentage-split lines that are grouped by Menu or Warranty code and lines that are not linked at all. The lines that are displayed here are labour lines that have been Completed and part lines that are Requisitioned.
Create a Point-of-Sale WIP and add labour or parts lines in the normal way and right-click the Total column header on the WIP.
The Split Lines By Menu/Warranty Code form is displayed.
Select the lines to be split. This can be done in one of two ways:
From the Menu or Warranty drop-down menu, select the codes to be split.
In the first column of the grid, tick the lines that you want to split.
In the Apply Contributions group, enter the percentage or value and click OK.
The lines that you have split will be loaded onto the WIP.
Menu Code: Select the required menu code from the drop-down menu to filter the lines in the grid. This displays a tick against the menu lines selected and updates the Apply Contributions group.
Warranty Code: Select the required warranty code from the drop-down menu to filter the lines in the grid. This displays a tick against the menu lines selected and updates the Apply Contributions group.
Flag: A tick is displayed next to the selected line number of the WIP if a Menu or Warranty code has been selected from their drop-down menus. You can manually select or de-select lines by clicking the line required.
Line: Line number of the WIP
Product: Part number or RTS code
Description: A description of the product
Menu: Description of the menu code
W: Description of the warranty code
Total: Total value of the line
Apply Contributions group
Menu Code =: The description of the menu code is displayed when you have selected it from the Menu Code drop-down menu.
Warranty Code =: The description of the warranty code is displayed when you have selected it from the Warranty Code drop-down menu.
Percentage: Percentage value entered
Value: Value entered
Note: The Apply Contributions group works the same way as the Payment Contributions option after a line has been selected.
Value should sum: A value is displayed when a line or lines have been selected.
