The VOLVO UK Parts Reports Form is displayed when you select the Parts Reports option from the VOLVO OPERATIONS MENU. Within this form you can define the content of the report.
Report Type
Sales history: This report shows a list of part numbers, stock balance and a monthly demand history. For this report you must select the following criteria: Discount code, SMP cat and Min/Max cat.
Stock valuation: This report shows a valuation of the last twelve months sales for all the parts and the value in stock of all the parts selected. For this report you must select the following criteria: Discount code and SMP cat.
Buy-back (Standard): This report enables Volvo to analyse obsolete stock and calculate buy-backs. For this report you must select the following criteria: Discount code, Min/Max cat and Date sold.
Selection criteria
Discount code: Enter the discount code of the parts you want to include on the report or an asterisk (*) to include parts of any discount code. The discount codes can be alpha or numeric as supplied by Volvo on the parts master price file. This selection criterion relates to the discount code set on parts in the stock file.
SMP cat: Enter the SMP category of the parts you want to include on the report or an asterisk (*) to include parts of any SMP category. This selection criterion relates to the core part indicator set on parts in the stock file.
Possible settings of this field are as follows:
Min/Max cat: Enter the Min/Max category of the parts you want to include on the report or an asterisk (*) to include parts of any Min/Max category.This selection criterion relates to the Min/Max indicator set on parts in the stock file.
Reorder: Enter the Reorder category of the parts you want to include on the report or an asterisk (*) to include parts of any Reorder category.This selection criterion relates to the reorder indicator set on parts in the stock file.
Date sold: Enter the Date sold for all parts to be included on the report. Any parts which have not been sold since this date will be excluded.This selection criterion relates to the date sold indicator set on parts in the stock file. The default settings for this selection criteria is 10 years before the current date.
Tip: Click the Ellipsis button [...] to display an electronic calendar from which you can select a date.
Output type
Generates the report type you have chosen.
Diskette: Output Buy-back (Standard) report to a diskette.
Printer: Output Buy-back (Standard) report to a printer.
Progress
Displays a progress of the report you have chosen above.
