The Pre-calculation function allows the user to preview, print or export to spreadsheet the estimated cost of quotations from the Showroom and Vehicle Stock Books modules.
This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to Sales > Pre-calculation > [no. Company name] on the Project parameters browser.

Showroom:
Sales calculation format: Enter the sales calculation format for new and used vehicles. Default: KNA.
Sales calculation Print Manager form: Enter the sales calculation Print Manger form.
Name.xls: Enter the name of the destination spreadsheet. When this is entered, the
toolbar button within the Showroom Enquires Print Calculation function is made available.
Vehicle Stock Book:
Pre-calculation format: Enter the Pre-calculation format for new vehicles. Default: KNA.
for used vehicles: Enter the Pre-calculation format for used vehicles. Default: KU1.
Pre-calculation Print Manager form: Enter the Print Manager form for Pre-calculation print production.
Post-calculation Print Manager format: Enter the Post-calculation format for new vehicles. Default: KNB.
for used vehicles: Enter the Post-calculation format for used vehicles. Default: KU2.
Post-calculation Print Manager form: Enter the Print Manager form for Post-calculation print production.
The showroom tab consists of data entry fields that are used to record the required sales analysis codes used for grouping and costing of sales options.
Note: The analysis codes must exist in your local system.
Warning: The field List price must contain a lower case l and the field Factory options must contain a lower case f.

Cost Estimate Analysis Mapping:
Include NR costs 1: Select to include the non-recoverable costs 1 in the calculation.
Include NR costs 2: Select to include the non-recoverable costs 2 in the calculation.
Include NR costs 3: Select to include the non-recoverable costs 3 in the calculation.
