When we add a new contact to a CRM target and if Additional competitor information has been set-up for the Contact Code selected and if the Department selected for the contact code is set-up in the MBVS-Z mapping table, the Additional competitor info form is displayed if the new contact is saved. To add a contact to a CRM target, you must:
If the Additional competitor information has been set-up for the Contact Code and the Department code, the Additional contact information from is displayed if the New contact record is saved.
If the Main competitor information has been set as mandatory, you are obliged to complete the Franchise, Model and Description fields. In the Franchise dropdown is filled with all franchises that are set-up in the MBVS-Z set up utility. After selecting the Franchise, the Model dropdown is filled. After selecting a Model from the dropdown, the Description field is filled automatically. If filled completely, the Next button is enabled.
Select the Next button, to continue. Now the Type 1 or Type 2 additional information must be completed.
If the Type 1 or Type 2 additional information fields have been set-up to be mandatory or not, you are not obliged to complete the information on this form.
Selecting the Previous button allows you to return to the Main competitor form and change the information on that page if required.
Selecting the Finish button stores the Additional competitor information together with the contact code.
