Extra form to select Cost Centres in CRM

For every CRM target and company record, one cost centre should be selected for each cost centre type, for exported to MBVS-Z. Selecting the cost centre type for export can be done in the MBVS-Z form in the CRM module. To select the Cost Centres types, you must:

• Select from the Main menu the CRM option.
• Select from the CRM Main menu the My desktop option.
• Select with help of the Search function a Customer record.
• Select from the Customer options menu the Cost centres for MBVS-Z option.
• The Select Cost Centres to export to MBVS-Z form is displayed.
• The form displays the all Departments (Cost Centre types) selected for the customer and displayed on the Additional details tab of the CRM Customer record.

For each Cost Centre type (Department), one cost centre should be selected, which will be exported to MBVS-Z. If for each Cost Centre type only one Cost Centres is selected, these Cost Centres are automatically selected. In that case it's not possible to change the selection. In case there are more then one Cost Centres for one Cost Centre type, this is considered to be an unclear situation.

All cost centres displayed in the form match the following criteria:

• The Cost centre must be set-up in the MBVS-Z mapping table.
• The Department area of the Cost centre type (Department codes, can be set-up in the CRM miscellaneous options) must be set-up as a Sales or Both department.

The form is displayed automatically in some cases as well. The following events will trigger the display of the Select Cost Centres to export to MBVS-Z form automatically:

• When adding a new cost centre to the target and if this cost centre is available in the MBVS-Z mapping table and if the cost centre added is a Sales cost centre and the adding of the cost centre creates an unclear situation.

  Note: An unclear situation arises if more then one cost centre of the same type is added to the target (customer).

• If the customer type of a cost centre, which was selected to be exported to be MBVS-Z, is set to X - Record for deletion. If this target is linked to a company the form with cost centres for that company will also pop up, if there a change in the cost centre situation occurred.

MBVS-Z Cost Centres for companies

The Cost Centres to export to MBVS-Z form for companies displays all valid cost centres of all targets that are linked to the company. Also for a company the rule is that only one cost centre of a cost centre type can be exported to MBVS-Z.

If a company has more then one Customers linked, when manually changing the selected cost centre belonging a customer a message is displayed in which is asked to change all Cost Centres of that customer.

Select the Save option from the Toolbar to store any changed settings.
