Content of the Export file

Below is explained what data is exported in the Smart CRM Interface files.

Read through all vehicles on the Marketing vehicle file

• Only vehicle records, which have the franchise letter set up in the parameters, are taken in account.
• New records are exported and also vehicles, which have changed since the last export. If the vehicle is not present in the Marketing Vehicle finance information file or if the invoice date on the Marketing Vehicle finance information record of the vehicle is blank, it is ignored.
• In this case a record type 10 is written in the export file.
• For all Marketing Vehicle finance information records for this vehicle, output record type 11 is written.
• For all Vehicle specification records for this vehicle, output record type 12 is written.
• For all Invoice history records for this vehicle, output record type 13 is written.

Read through all customers on the Marketing customer file

• New records are exported. Targets from which the Exclude Smart flag is ticked are ignored.
• Target records are also ignored if they are not linked to a smart vehicle or if the customers preferred model (held on the user defined target record) is not a smart vehicle then ignore customer
• If the customer change date and time < last run date then the program checks to see if contacts have been changed. This is done as contacts may be created without updating the Customer record.
• If contacts have been created then record type 21 is written in the export file.
• Targets will reflect in the export file as record type 20, for all contact records, which have changed since the last run output a record of type 21

Read through all records on the Marketing Company file

• New records are exported and also companies, which have changed since the last export. Companies from which the Exclude Smart flag is ticked are ignored.
• In this case a record type 30 is written in the export file.
