The Retail Interface export file is sent to the Mercedes-Benz CRiS system. The export files are in XML format.
To export the files:
On the master menu, select Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Marketing > Menu - Retail Interface > Interface to CRiS - Export.
The Retail Interface - Export To CRiS form is displayed.
Select the options you require to run the export.
Click the Export toolbar button, or click the Retail Interface > Create export file(s) menu bar command, or click the Create export file(s) button.
The progress of the export is displayed at the bottom of this Retail Interface - Export To CRiS form and a dialog box is displayed if the export is successful.
Click OK.
Returns you to the Retail Interface - Export To CRiS form.
After the export has finished, the Summary repor and hte error log are created. Both documentations are sent to the e-mail address which are set up in the Retail Interface parameters. The export file is sent to the CRiS via the MB Communication program.
Tip: You can setup the DQ Sensor - Export results in Timed operations with module MS and option MSMBICE (Interface to CRiS - Export). You can also set the Complete export option in Timed operations, by entering COMPLETE in the Parameters field of the Flag tab.
Tip: Via the MB Communication program you can setup the communication type CRME and enter the module MS, company **, description Retail Interface - Export, select the Transmit immediately field and enter a path in Remote directory were you want to store the export file.
This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Marketing > Menu - Retail Interface > Interface to CRiS - Export. It creates the export files that are sent to the Mercedes-Benz CRiS system.

The report generator displays per CRM record the error description. The Retail Interface - error log report lists error descriptions per CRM record, when an error occurs during creation of the Export file. Errors are generated if for example mandatory fields are not filled on the CRM records or if the cost centre is not correctly set. |

Retailers included in export:
Displays what files are created. Depending on the Group by option, the Retailers included in export tree is sorted differently. Per retailer a file name that will be generated and the CMR locations that are inlcuded in the export is displayed.
You can expand or collapse the tree elements to see more or fewer subentries. A plus sign (+) next to an element indicates that you can expand it to show more subentries. A minus sign (-) indicates that you can collapse it.
Progress:
During the creation of the export file the progress is displayed in the gauge bar and process currently run is displayed as a text above the gauge bar.
Group by:
The selection populates the Retailers included in export browser for each CRM company and retailer Id configured in the Retailer Ids parameters.
Note: The locations are indicated by **, means that all locations are taken along in the export.
You can compare the Retailer ID to what in other project is called the Dealer number. The Mercedes-Benz program that receives the Interface files can identify the dealer or retailer information by the Retailer ID or the Dealer number.
