Additional Standard Reports

There are a number of reports available which can help the user with CRM in Autoline. To use these reports, you must:

• Select from the Main menu the Marketing option.
• Select from the Marketing Main menu the Reports and Enquiries option.
• Select from the Marketing Reports and Enquiries menu the Mercedes-Benz CRM menu option.
• The Mercedes-Benz CRM Reports menu contains four reports. All reports are described.

Company Address Validation

The Company Address Validation report gives an overview of the company address which have or have not been validated by Fuzzy!Post.

After selecting the report the Company Validation Fuzzy!Post form is opened.

• Output type: Select from the table the output type, Print, HTML or Display.
• Validation status: If ticked, the address is validated if not the address is not validated before.
• From first letter (A-Z): Gives together with the 'To first letter field' the possibility to set a range. The addresses that match the range are put in the report.
• To first letter (A-Z): The end value of the range.

Entering the above criteria will display all validated addresses.

The report displays per found company number the following lines:

• Line 1 Company magic number
• Line 2 Company name
• Line 3 Address line 1
• Line 4 Address line 2
• Line 5 Address line 3
• Line 6 Address line 4
• Line 7 Address line 5

If the Output type of a report is put to Print, it is possible to Schedule or Add the report to batch.

Schedule

After selecting the Schedule button, the Timed Operations Schedule form is opened.

To add the report to the schedule, you must:

• Select at the top of the form in what frequency the report should be added. Default the Today only option is selected.
• Select the Add button. The Scheduling information form is opened.
• By default all options on the Scheduling information form have been set but it is possible to change things if you do not agree.

  Timing tab

  • Company number: Select from the table the company number for which the report must run.
  • Frequency: Select the frequency from the table.
  • When to run: Depending on the 'Frequency', select the 'When to run field' from the table.
  • Retry time: If for some reason the report can not be run, the report can be tried again to run at the retry time.
  • Spooler: Select the spooler from the system
  • Last run date: Set by the system, last day the report has run.
  • At: Set by the system, time the report has run for the last time
  • One run off date: Depending on the 'Frequency', select the date to run the report.
  • Time: Set the time at which the report must run.

  Flags tab

  • Exclusive mode: When exclusive mode is put on, only the current option is run at that time.
  • Run stand alone: When ticked the option is run stand alone.
  • Flags: The flags set on the menu option of the report can be used to set conditions to run the report. Mostly used for programs.
  • Parameters: The parameters set on the menu option of the report can be used to set conditions to run the report. Mostly used for programs.
  • Linked option: Not used in this case.

  Reports tab

  • Report prompts: If you want to fill prompts of a report with different values that the default ones or if the prompts have no defaults, it is possible to set them on the Reports tab.

  Note: Validation status is in this case the first prompt.

Add to batch

The Add to Batch button gives the possibility to add a report to a Timed Operations Report group.

Enter the group to which you want to add the report and select the priority the user must have to execute the report.

Target Address Validation

The same report is available to check the Target addresses in Autoline.

The report displays per found company number the following lines:

• Line 1 Target magic number
• Line 2 Target name
• Line 3 Address line 1
• Line 4 Address line 2
• Line 5 Address line 3
• Line 6 Address line 4
• Line 7 Address line 5

The Target addresses validation report can also be added to the Timed Operations program.

Expected Replacement

The Expected Replacement report gives a overview of the vehicles for which the replacement is due in a number of months.

The Expected Replacement Date can be calculated after changing the Buy Cycle field on the Lifestyle tab, which can be found in the Extra-Details menu option of the Target menu of a Marketing Record.

The buy circle (in years) is added to the Delivery date of a vehicle, which then should be the expected replacement date.

• Output type: Select from the table the output type, Print, HTML or Display.
• Sales executive: Select from the table the sales executive. If left blank, all sales executives are taken along.
• Replacement due in next months: Enter the number of months in which the expected replacement date should fall.

Fields displayed on the report:

• Date: Today's date
• Sales executive: Sales executive attached to the vehicle
• Target number: Magic number of the target
• First name: First name of the target
• Surname: Surname of the target
• Registration: Registration number of the vehicle
• Model code: Model code of the vehicle
• Variant: Variant code of the vehicle

The Expected Replacement Date report can also be added to the Timed Operations program.

Preferred Method of Contact report

The Preferred Method of Contact report gives an overview of the overview type per target.

• Contact type Select the contact type from the table. If left blank, all contact types are displayed.

Per sale executive the contact types of the targets are displayed.

• Date: Today's date
• Sales executive: Abbreviation of the sales executive
• Target number: Magic number of the target
• First name: First name of the target
• Surname: Surname of the target
• Telephone: Home telephone number
• Mobile: Mobile telephone number
• E-mail: E-mail address
• Preferred method: Preferred method of contact for this target

The Preferred method of contact report can also be added to the Timed Operations program.
