If the address validation interface parameter Use HTTPS is ticked for Marketing company MB, a program called STUNNEL a Universal SSL wrapper must be set up to enable the program to do the communication via HTTPS instead of HTTP.
STUNNEL source code is available under the GNU General Public License meaning that it is free for use in both commercial and non-commercial applications ( see www.stunnel.org ) and can be installed on any client-PC in the DMS-network or directly on the Unix server and will work like a proxy-server to establish HTTPS POST messages onto the internet. To install STUNNEL, it needs the exe, the conf file and the 2 OpenSSL DLLs in a directory. It can be run manually or you can install it as a service.
The Conf file specifies the proxy port to use and which server that it should connect to. The Confi file must be set up to link to the Autoline address validation parameters.
The Autoline parameter HTTPS S-tunnel IP parameter must contain the IP-address of the client or server which has the S-tunnel program running. The HTTPS S-tunnel port parameter must contain the accept Accept parameter from the S-Tunnel Confi file.
The Connect parameter in the S-tunnel confi file must contain the same hostname as the Autoline Host name parameter, followed by the port number used for HTTPS communication. This port number is by default 443. For every communication done via S-tunnel, an S-tunnel Log file is created.
