Maintaining Campaign Parameters

Campaign parameters database records are used throughout the campaign system to assist in the integration of

• Campaign data imports
• Campaign data exports
• Integration with Point of Sales
• Integration with CRM

The Campaign Parameter Form enables the maintenance of the Campaign parameters database records using Autoline's standard record maintenance facility.

Warning: Autoline's data maintenance function should only be used by high level and knowledgeable users.

Campaign Parameter Form

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Service > Menu - Service campaigns > New service campaigns module > Settings toolbar button > Parameters - Parameters.

The displayed fields may be viewed in either Grid or Column format.

Table name: Defines the parameter action / event.

Record number: Unique record number within table name element.

Text diff languages: Varying meaning depending upon Table name.

1. Create Contacts - To create a marketing contact.
2. Create Diary - To create a diary entry.
3. Dealer Territory - The specific dealer territory.
4. Default Warranty Code - The default for warranty code.
5. [DiaryText] - [Enter the entry text used in the diary item]. {{%@ID}} is de derived field of the campaign id. {{%@L}} is de derived field of the letter printed.
6. CSV directory - The path that is displayed if a CSV file is saved on the server.
7. Import directory - The path where the Daimler AG import files are located on the server.
8. Send directory MB - The path that is used to send a created export file to the manufacturer.
9. Send filename MB - The file name which is used when sending the created export file to the manufacturer.
10. [Icons] - [Enter the descriptions for the Icons button].
11. [LetterDatabaseFields] - Leave blank.
12. Show dealer camp. while user has no rights - To open also campaigns of other dealers.
13. Show manufact. camp. while user has no rights - To open also campaigns of another manufacturer.
14. Open WIP message after import VD925A - To open a WIP reminder.
15. [ReasonsnotServiced] - [Describes the reasons for the vehicle not being serviced].
16. Warranty not available - The manufacturer, that are skipped for warranty.

1. ASK - Current setting is to ask before creating a marketing contact.
2. ASK - Current setting is to ask before creating a diary entry.
3. [DealerTerritories] - Leave blank.
4. [DefaultWarrantyCode] - Leave blank.
5. [DiaryText] - Enter the record number for this reason.
6. [Directory CSV] - Enter the path that is displayed if a CSV file is saved on the server.
7. [DirectoryImport] - Enter the path where the Daimler AG import files are located on the server.
8. [DirectoryMBSend] - Enter the path that is used to send a created export file to the manufacturer.
9. [FilennameMBSend] - Enter the file name which is used when sending the created export file to the manufacturer.
10. [Icons] - Enter the path and names for the Icons image. Places the icon on the button.
11. [LetterDatabaseFields] - Enter the data file fields to use when actioning campaign letters.
12. YES - Current setting is to open also campaigns of other dealers.
13. YES - Current setting is to open also campaigns of another manufacturer.
14. YES - Current setting is to open a WIP reminder.
15. [ReasonsnotServiced] - Leave blank.
16. [WarrantyNotAvailable] - Leave blank.
