Creating a Backorder visibility MOPAR File

You use the Backorder Visibility MOPAR form to create a daily export file, containing the backorder situation of the MOPAR parts.

To create an export file:

  1. On the master menu, select Manufacturer systems > MB. Mercedes-Benz > Menu - Service > Backorder visibility MOPAR.

    The Backorder Visibility MOPAR form is displayed.

  2. Select the Point of Sale company required.

    Only for the selected Point of Sale company an export file is created.

  3. Click the Create export file toolbar button or click the Tools > Create export file menu bar command.

    The Backorder visibility MOPAR file for the selected company is created and available via the Communication program. You are prompted when the export file is available.

    Note: The communication request BVM is used in the communication program.

  4. Click the OK

    Returns you to the Backorder Visibility MOPAR form.

Tip: You can setup the Backorder visibility MOPAR program in Timed operations with module MS and option MSMBBVM.

Backorder Visibility MOPAR Form

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems > MB. Mercedes-Benz > Menu - Service > Backorder visibility MOPAR. It creates daily export files, containing the backorder situation of the MOPAR parts.

Menu Bar and Toolbar:

Menu bar Toolbar Action
File > Exit Exit Returns you to the Menu - Service menu.

File > Create export file Export Creates a Backorder visibility MOPAR file. This file is available and can be viewed via the Communication program.

Help > About Displays version and copyright information.

Point of Sale company: Select the Point of Sale company for which you want to create a daily export file. Only one daily export file is created per selected Point of Sale company.

Note: The parts exported in the Backorder visibility MOPAR file must match the following criteria:
* The Sales ledger account assigned to the part must match the Sales ledger account of the dealer number record on which the Backorder visibility MOPAR parameter is selected.
* The part must be known in the Mercedes-Benz price file and the Franchise record of the part must have the Price file code set to MB.
* The section letter of the part must be K in the price file.
* The parts line must not be decarded from stock.
* The order status of the part must match one of the order statuses set-up in one of the three Backorder Visibility MOPAR parameters.
