German Specific Address Target form

The German Specific Address Target form is available in the CRM module. To enter the CRM module, you must:

• Select from the Main menu the CRM option.
• Select from the CRM Main menu the My desktop option.
• The CRM Main form is displayed.
• Select with help of the Search function a Target record.
• Load the record by selecting a record and select the Load button or create a new record by selecting the Create button.
• In case of editing an existing record, select the Edit button from the Toolbar.
• Select the Edit button from the Customer tab to edit the Name and address of the target.
• The German Target addressing form is displayed.

Because of the parameter settings and the Classic Car Center setting, the form can look different. The Classic Car Center setting has only influence on the field in the Name group. All fields on the form are explained below:

Name

Without the Classic Car Center setting:

• Title: Enter the title of the customer.

• First name: Enter the first name of the customer.

• Title of nobility:

  Depending on the Title of nobility parameter:

  • Title of nobility: Enter the Title of nobility of the Target.

• Surname:

  Depending on the Separate surname and surname 2 parameter:

  • Surname / Surname 2: Enter the Surname and if necessary the Surname 2 of the customer.

    or

  • Surname: Enter the Surname and if necessary the Surname 2 of the customer.

• Salutation:

  Depending on the Use salutation file for targets parameter:

  • Salutation: Select the salutation from the dropdown.
  • Letter salutation: After selecting the salutation from the dropdown the Letter salutation is filled with the Letter intro from the Salutation table.
  • Complete letter salutation: After selecting the salutation from the dropdown the Complete letter salutation is generated using the Letter intro from the Salutation table and the target's Last name.

    or

  • Letter salutation: Enter the salutation for the customer record.

  With the Classic Car Center setting:

• Title: Enter the Title of the Target.

  Note: The Title of nobility parameter has no influence on this field!

• First name: Enter the customers first name.

• Name:Enter the Surname of the customer.

  Note: The next two fields are stored in the database field WORKADDR occ.1. and WORKADDR occ.2.

  Note: The Separate surname and surname 2 parameter has no influence on these fields!

• Salutation:Enter the salutation for the customer record.

  Note: The Use salutation file for targets parameter has no influence on these fields!

Address

• Street: Enter the Street of the Target address.

  Depending on the Use district parameter:

  • Postcode / City: Enter the Postcode and City of the Target address.
  • District: Enter the District of the Target address.

    or

  • Postcode: Enter the Postcode of the Target address.
  • City: Enter the City of the Target address.

PO Box

• PO Box: Enter the PO Box of the Post office address if available.
• Postcode and City: Enter the Postcode and City of the Post office address if available.

Country

• Country
: Select the Country code from the dropdown.

Save the record by selecting the Save icon from the Toolbar.
