If factory options are to be changed and the connection to CESAR is unavailable, you can make the changes using Autoline Showroom in off-line mode. This changes the enquiry/offer record's CESAR validity status to N. It requires re-validation when CESAR again becomes available.
Note: If dealer-fitted options of a previously CESAR-validated enquiry/offer are changed, those changes do not invalidate the enquiry/offer because CESAR is concerned primarily with options that are the responsibility of the manufacturer.
When you recall an enquiry/quote/order and so on, Autoline makes two checks:
That it has been validated by CESAR
That the CESAR offer expiry date is still valid
The results of those checks are listed in the CSR Valid column of the Enquiry Search Results form:
This form is displayed on selecting the Recall Enquiry button on the Showroom Customer Enquiries form. It provides a number of different search criteria to help locate previously created enquiries.
The fields described in this help page are of particular relevance to CESAR.

Tip: The grid contains a number of columns with CSR in their headings. These columns relate to CESAR.
GRID:
CSR Valid: Indicates whether the record has been validated against CESAR. This is required to ensure the vehicle can be built, and may occur in instances where the link to CESAR was not possible or lost partway through. It can have the following values:
A red X indicates that either the record needs validating or the offer has expired. The former can occur when the link to CESAR was unavailable or lost partway through the vehicle quotation process.
A green tick represents a valid offer
A blank CSR Valid field indicates that the enquiry represented by the line has yet to be validated by CESAR
Note: If it has not been validated against CESAR, the next time it is recalled, an attempt to connect to CESAR is made automatically.
CSR Expiry: Wholesale offer expiry date if the vehicle configuration was downloaded from CESAR
Note: If the offer has expired when you load the record, Showroom connects to CESAR automatically and you must reconfigure the vehicle and download a new offer.
CSR Stat: Indicates the CESAR offer status:
Offer: The configuration has been confirmed by CESAR as valid and the wholesale offer data has been downloaded into Showroom
Reservation request: CESAR enables creation of an enquiry on an allocation (production slot), the dealer creating a reservation request on a vehicle already reserved by another dealer, that is, join a waiting list for that vehicle. If the first dealer in the waiting list does not accept the offer, CESAR automatically shifts the offer to the second dealer in the waiting list. If the second dealer in the list does not accept the offer within a time limit, CESAR allocates the offer to the next dealer in the waiting list, and so on.
Order: Offer has been accepted by the dealer. Autoline's Vehicle stock books module receives the order confirmation data from CESAR.
Note: CSR Stat codes are user definable in the status mapping table (MS.MB.csstm).
