CESAR is only applicable to franchises defined in the Mercedes-Benz parameter configuration utility form, all other franchises continuing to function as normal in Showroom. The availability of CESAR also depends on the parameter Is CESAR Available?, which dictates whether Autoline Showroom attempts to connect to CESAR. Any change to this flag is instantaneous and effective for the next attempted connection to CESAR in the quote cycle.
To access CESAR parameters:
Select Manufacturer systems module and the MB Mercedes-Benz company from the Autoline master menu.
The Mercedes-Benz main menu is displayed.
Select the Menu - Utilities option.
The Mercedes-Benz Utilities menu is displayed.
Select the Mercedes-Benz parameters option.
The Mercedes-Benz parameter configuration utility is displayed.
Expand the Sales folder in the Project parameters tree control.
A number of options are displayed under the Sales folder.

This form is displayed on selecting the Mercedes-Benz parameters option from the Mercedes-Benz Utilities menu.
Note: For each MS Company, a franchise record should be defined. For Mercedes-Benz this should be set to MB, matching the MS company ID set in the franchise record of Franchise data module. Therefore, it is only possible to control the CESAR process at a franchise level.
