To continue with the example used above, in which the Master Data files have been put on the server.
To upload and convert the master data files, you must enter the Update master data After Sales program. Within this program you can upload not only the pricefile from the manufacturer, but also baumusterfiles, standard text files and/or standard files.
To enter the program, you must:

The Master Data After Sales form contains all the files that can be uploaded to Autoline.

Files Grid:
Type: Description of the file.
Filename: Name of the file.
In use: When selected, the file is in use at the moment by Autoline.
Records loaded: Number of records loaded at the moment.
Capacity: Capacity of the file.
Load: Select if you want to upload the file.
Initialise: Select if you want to initialise the file.
Tip: The default state of this field for type Supersessions, will be determined from the Initialise MB file before import parameter set in Supersessions Parameters.
UTF-8 code page: Select the UTF-8 language code.
Grid shortcut menu:
Edit: Select a new file name and/or file location.
Reset to default: Reset the data to the default.
Copy file from client to server: The Copy files form will be displayed. Select the file to be copied from the client PC to the server.
First you have to choose what files you want to upload by clicking the Load column of the line.
Then select from what location you want to upload the files, by selecting one of the radiobuttons. In this example the files are loaded from the Server.
Some upload lines allow you to edit the filename on the location by double clicking the Filename field. The set-up for the file locations is explained later this document.
Select the Initialise column if you want the file to be initialised. Be aware that all the data that is loaded at the moment will be gone, unless you keep a copy of the file before.
Note: The Initialise option isn't available when the file is in use.
After you have set the options as you like them, you can press the Convert button, now the files you have selected are being uploaded.
After the Master Data files have been uploaded, a Conversion done message is given.
If you want to view the log file, select the View file button from the Master Data After Sales screen.
The Log file gives an overview of what file is loaded when and by whom.
