Any UVS-In option that a trade-in vehicle has, for example electronic immobiliser, must be captured into the UVS-In database. The reason you must capture them is they can increase the value of the trade in.
What do you want to do?
The Assign UVS-In - options form can be displayed via Vehicle Stockbooks or via Manufacturer Systems:
Click Vehicle stockbooks > [no. Company name] > Vehicle administration > File > Vehicle > Used Vehicle stock followed by File > Open select the used vehicle you require and click File > Load. The Vehicle Administration form will be redisplayed with the used vehicle details in the form fields. Click Franchise > Additional Details. The UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form is displayed and click on the Color and Options tab.
Click the Add options button. The Assign UVS-In options form is displayed.
Select the VSB option required, right-click in the selected line and select Assign to UVS-In option. The Assign UVS-In options form is displayed.
Or, click Manufacturer Systems > Menu - Sales > Menu - UVS-In > UVS-In interface, double-click the gridline of the vehicle required. The UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form is displayed and click on the Color and Options tab.
Click the Add options button. The Assign UVS-In options form is displayed.
Select the VSB option required, right-click in the selected line and select Assign to UVS-In option. The Assign UVS-In options form is displayed.
Select the correct UVS-In option to add to this vehicle:
Search criteria (blank is all)Enter the part of the code or the complete code that you want to search for.
Grid:
Code - Chassis no.: Indicates the UVS-In option code.
Description: Indicates the description of the option code.
Buttons:
Cancel: Returns to the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form.
Help: Displays this help topic in a web browser.
UVS-In options can be added to a vehicle record via the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form. If you do this, the UVS-In option will be transmitted.
To add a UVS-In option to the vehicle:
Click the Color and Options tab on the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form.
The Color and Options tab will be displayed.
Click the Add options button.
The Assign UVS-In options form is displayed.
Click a UVS-In option to select it.
The UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form will be displayed again with the option added to the Options grid.
Click File > Save and Exit or .
The record is saved to the UVS-In database.
UVS-In options can be assigned to already existing options of a vehicle record via the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form. If you do this, the UVS-In option will be transmitted.
To assign a UVS-In option to the vehicle:
Click the Color and Options tab on the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form.
The Color and Options tab will be displayed.
Select the VSB option required, right-click in the selected line and select Assign to UVS-In option.
The Assign UVS-In options form is displayed.
Click a UVS-In option to select it.
The UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form will be displayed again with the option added to the Options grid.
Click File > Save and Exit or .
The record is saved to the UVS-In database.
UVS-In options can be deleted from a vehicle record. If you do this, the UVS-In option will not be transmitted.
To delete a UVS-In option:
Click the Color and Options tab on the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form.
The Color and Options tab will be displayed.
Select the UVS-In option required, right-click in the selected line and select Delete the option for UVS-In.
The option is removed from the grid and the message WILL NOT BE SENT TO UVS-In is displayed in the Description field.
Click File > Save and Exit or .
The record will be saved to the UVS-In database.
It is possible to undo a deleted option code, the description of the option codes changes tot normal and the code is send again to UVS-In.
To undo the deletion of a UVS-In option:
Click the Color and Options tab on the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form.
The Color and Options tab will be displayed.
Select the option required, right-click in the selected line and select Undo deletion.
The deletion is undone.
Click File > Save and Exit or .
The record will be saved to the UVS-In database.
