The UVS-In Mappings Creator is used to set up a mapping from various VSB fields to various UVS-In tables.
What do you want to do?
This form is displayed when you select Manufacturer Systems > Menu - Sales > Menu - UVS-In > UVS-In interface to display the UVS-In Monitor form. Then click UVS-In Setup > UVS-In mapping from the tool bar. It is used to map the UVS-In codes in the tables to the franchise data codes.
Tip: The UVS-IN mapping is also available from the UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite) form when you click UVS-In Setup > UVS-In mapping from the tool bar.
Menu Bar and Action:
| File > Exit | Returns you to the UVS-In Monitor without saving any changes. |
| File > Save. | Saves any changes to the record. |

VSB Company:
Name and identifier code of the VSB company.
Set Mappings For:
Note: Select one of the fields below to populate the grid with franchise data and UVS-In table codes, so that you can map them.
Body type: Maps to Franchise Data body style codes. For example, Coupe, limousine.
Type of usage: Maps to Vehicle Stock Book usage codes. For example, fleet, contract hire.
Fuel type: Maps to Franchise Data fuel type codes. For example, petrol, diesel.
Vehicle type: Maps to Franchise Data model analysis codes. For example, passenger vehicle.
Transmission type: Maps to Franchise Data transmission codes. For example, automatic, manual.
Trade in reference: Maps to Vehicle Stock Book trade in reference codes.
UVS-In Table and Available Codes:
UVS-In table name field: The UVS-In table is displayed, according to the selection in Set mappings for. Select the required code of the UVS-In table.
Note: If Body type is selected and the UVS-In Table field contains BODY_GRP, the Use UVS-In reference data supply parameter is set. Otherwise this field contains GFG-BODY.
UVS-In table record field: Name of the UVS-In table record the franchise data code is to be mapped to.
Actions Buttons:
Set mapping: Set or update the UVS-In and franchise data mapping for the current gridline.
Clear mapping: Remove the UVS-In and franchise data mapping for the current gridline.
Mappings of the Franchise Data Body Style Codes Grid:
Code: Franchise data code.
Description: Franchise data code description.
Code: UVS-In table record code.
Description: UVS-In table record description.
You can map franchise data and UVS-In table records.
To set franchise data and UVS-In table mappings
Click Manufacturer Systems > Menu - Sales > Menu - UVS-In > UVS-In interface to display the UVS-In Monitor form. Then click UVS-In Setup > UVS-In mapping from the tool bar.
The UVS-IN Mapping form is displayed.
Select the type of mapping you want to set from the Set mappings for group.
The Mappings of the Franchise Data body style codes grid is populated with the franchise data fields and possible UVS-In table codes.
Select the row on the grid that you want to map and select the UVS-In code from the UVS-In Table and available codes field.
The UVS-In code you selected is displayed in the grid in the third and fourth columns.
Click Set mapping and File > Save from the Menu Bar or Save (
) on the Toolbar.
The franchise data and UVS-In table records are mapped to each other.
Note: Ensure you click File > Save on the Menu bar or Save () on the Toolbar before you exit the form, or all information that you have changed will be lost.
To clear franchise data and UVS-In table mappings:
Click Manufacturer Systems > Menu - Sales > Menu - UVS-In > UVS-In interface to display the UVS-In Monitor form. Then click UVS-In Setup > UVS-In mapping from the tool bar.
The UVS-IN Mapping form is displayed.
Select the type of mapping you want to clear from the Set mappings for group.
The Mappings of the Franchise Data body style codes grid is populated with the franchise data fields and mapped UVS-In table codes.
Select the row on the grid that you want to clear, click Clear mapping and File > Save from the Menu Bar or Save () on the Toolbar.
The franchise data and UVS-In table records mapping is cleared.
Note: Ensure you click File > Save on the Menu bar or Save () on the Toolbar before you exit the form, or all information that you have changed will be lost.
