MB Interface test utility form

The Interface test utility form is displayed after you have selected the Interface Check Utility option from the Mercedes-Benz Utilities menu. All fields and options on the screen are explained below:

Available interfaces groupbox

Select from the Available Interfaces groupbox the Interface that you want to test. EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue), ELC (Electronic Labour Catalogue) or STAR Network.

Environment groupbox

• User ID: Enter your user ID.
• Company: Select from the table the Point of Sale company.
• Chassisnumber: Enter in case of an ELC Interface a chassisnumber.

Test results groupbox

The test results groupbox gives the testresults after the you have entered the environment parameters correctly.

Buttons on the screen

• Create log file: Creates a logfile with the testresults on the Autoline server.
• Test: Tries to start the program for which the Interface is build with the commandlines from the registry of the computer and the parameters.
