Save a shopping list
When you are regularly creating the same or very similar shopping list it is easier to save this list and reload it into the WIP when needed. This avoids the effort of rebuilding the list using callout numbers or the EPC graphics.
Save a shopping list within EPC:
- After selecting the parts with the Insert key within EPC, you then select the Review List menu option
- Select the List utils option.
The List Utils menu is opened.
- Select the Save current list, option 1.
- Select the directory which has the name of your computer.
- Name the shopping list, the name can be maximum eight characters long.
- Press the ALT and Tab keys together to return to Autoline.
Now it is possible to open a new WIP and load the saved shopping list.
- Start the EPC if this isn't done by clicking the EPC button
- Press the ALT and Tab keys together to return to Autoline.
- Select on the Elektronic Parts Catalogue Interface Form the EPC input field and type the name of the saved shopping list.
- Deselect any items that you do not want to load onto the WIP.
- Click the Load to Wip button.
- The system loads the selected labour items onto the WIP.
- You can now process the WIP in the normal way.
Recall a shopping list
When you want to reload this list on your WIP, enter the List Utilities menu again and select the Recall a saved list option.
Select your computer name again and all the saved lists are shown. Select the shopping list you want to recall.
Note The current parts on the shopping list are overwritten when you recall a saved list.
Note From the List Utils it is also possible to copy or delete a shopping list.
