  • Description: The description is retrieved from the master price file.
  • SM: Stock Management company number.
  • S / N: (S)tocked or (N)on-Stocked part indicator.
  • MLI: Current MLI code, (sales) discount-code of the part.
  • RG: Current RG (purchase) discount-code of the part.
  • CG: Calculation group, which is assigned to the part.
  • CURR: Market currency code.
  • OLD RETAIL: The current valid retail price as found in the market price file.
  • NEW RETAIL: The new calculated retail price.
  • DIFF%: The difference in percentage between the OLD and NEW retail price.
  • OLD WHOLESALE: The current valid whole sale price as found in the market price file.
  • NEW WHOLESALE: The new calculated whole sale price.
  • DIFF% : The difference in percentage between the OLD and NEW whole sale price.

When exiting the report, the Update Market Price File form is displayed.

To create and update a Market Price file for the currently selected market with the prices as calculated and displayed in the report, select the Update Market Price File button.

The Stop, NO update button gives the possibility to change the calculation factors, the criteria, which are used to assign the calculation groups or change the report used for the calculation and calculate the prices again.

During the update a summary is displaying the figures on the form.

Select the Update Master Price File button to update the Master Price File or select the Cancel, update later button to update the Master Price File later.

Again a summary displays the process of updating.

The Current Price File option enables you to look at the Market Price File after the calculation has been done.

Select the Current Price File option from the Market Setting menu.

Note: All Market Price Files are written into the same MB.MS.mkprc file. When selecting the Current Market Price option, only the parts, which are in the market price file of the market you have selected, are displayed! Be aware of that when creating your own reports or AD-HOC enquiries.
