Introduction

The objective of this development is to gain an understanding of the number of repeating visits, called Repeat Repairs in Autoline. The data can be analysed in order that action can be taken to reduce the number of Repeat Repairs.

Modules involved

Manufacturer systems (MS): The program that enables a user to save Repeat Repairs is located in the Manufacturer Systems module. Also the parameters and reports are located in the Manufacturer Systems module.

Point of Sale (SO): The WIP’s (Work In Progress orders) are created, maintained and invoiced in the Point of Sale module. From the WIP a user can indicate if a WIP is a Repeat Repair.

Setup

Before the Repeat Repairs can be used, you need to set up the Repeat Repair parameters and the Repeat Repair Reasons.
