Retrieve damagecodes from WIS

The WIS/ASRA system is a combination of two systems. The ASRA system is designed to retrieve labourlines, the ASRA system is linked to the WIS system. In this system you can retrieve matching damagecodes.

There are two ways of retrieving damagecodes from WIS. The first one is to add the damagecode when you select the labour line. It is also possible to retrieve them when the lines have already been loaded to the WIP. Both ways are explained underneath.

To retrieve a damagecode while selecting the labourline is almost the same procedure as described before.

• Start ASRA by pressing the ASRA button in the WIP.

• When ASRA is started, select a labourcode and attach a damagecode.

• Save the labourline and close the WIS/ASRA program.

• Return to Autoline and load the labourline on the WIP.

To retrieve damagecodes from WIS when the labourline are already on the WIP, it is possible to take a shortcut throught the system. The procedure is described below.

• Instead of selecting the ASRA button, select the Overall button in the Point of Sale screen.

  Now the Mercedes-Benz Overall View form with three tabpages is opened.

• Select the WIS / ASRA tab page.

  On this tab page, the labour lines from the WIP are displayed. When you select a labour line, the buttons on the right become active.

• When you select the Damagekey button, the WIS / ASRA system is started.

• In this system you can select the correct damage code. When you close the WIS / ASRA system and return to Autoline, the damage code is assigned to the labour line.
