Autoline

In order for the Point-of-Sale interface to function correctly, you must carry out the following set-up on the Autoline system:

Parameters & Controls

Set up the parameters that relate to EPC/WIS/ASRA:

To access the parameters & controls:

  1. From the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu, select the Menu-Utilities option.

    The Mercedes-Benz Utilities menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Parameters option.

    The MB Parameters & Controls form is displayed.

  3. Enter the Point-of-Sale Company number.

    Tip: Click the Ellipse button [...] to search for the correct company.

    The system defaults the current settings into the form.

  4. From the EPC-WIS-ASRA tab, complete the parameters within the Workshop Information System group.

Enabling the ASRA button within POS

To enable the ASRA button:

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Point-of-Sale option and the correct company.

    The POINT OF SALE MENU is displayed.

  2. Select the Kerridge utilities option.

    Note: This is a priority 9 option.

    The SO KERRIDGE UTILITIES menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Parameter defaults option.

    The SO System Parameters form is displayed.

  4. Within the SO/DISP Buttons group box, enter the following text in the first empty row:

Terminal Details

To set up the Terminal Details:

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Point-of-Sale option and the correct company.

    The POINT OF SALE MENU is displayed.

  2. Select the Miscellaneous options option.

    The SO MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Terminal details option.

    The Terminal Details form is displayed.

  4. Enter the Terminal number.

    Tip: Enter 0 for default.

    The system defaults the current settings into the form.

  5. Click the Amend button.

  6. Within the Default RTS company field on the Terminal Details tab, enter MB.

  7. Click the Save button.
