The MB-WIS Assyst screen is opened when the ASSYST function is selected. All fields are explained below.
Fields on the screen:
WIP number: This is the WIP number of the WIP that you have active on the screen at this moment.
Customer name: Name of the customer on the WIP.
Baumuster: The baumuster field will contain the complete chassisnumber in case the engine baumuster field is empty. When the engine baumuster field is filled correctly, the baumuster will be shown.
Engine baumuster: The engine baumuster field contains the engine number from the vehicle on the WIP. The baumuster should consist of 6 digits.
Mileage: The mileage field contains the mileage from the WIP. It is possible to amend the mileage in the MB-WIS Assyst screen and update the WIP with the new mileage.
Oil-Type / viscosity: Should contain the type of oil and the viscosity of the enigine.
Operator: The name of the operator is taken from the WIP and put in the Operator field.
Workshop codes: It is possible to enter the workshopcodes from the vehicle in the Workshop codes field.
Note: Workshop codes are e.g. the error codes from the screen on the dashboard of the vehicle.
Deadline: This field contains the date when the vehicle should be finished. When available this field is taken over from the WIP.
Dialog acceptance: Tick the Dialog acceptance box when a dialog with the customer has taken place.
Notes: The notes field can contain notes from the operator.
Background call: In case there is enough information available, it is possible to retrieve Service information from WIS/ASRA without additional user input by performing the background call. A valid chassisnumber and workshopcodes are required to enable the background call.
Buttons on the screen:
Assyst: Selecting the Assyst button will start the Assyst Interface.
Cancel: Cancel will exit the MB-WIS Assyst screen.
Help: Selecting the Help button the Help function is opened.
