The creation of a campaign defines the basic header requirements of the campaign and enables the Import or Manual addition of vehicles that are effected by the campaign.
Once the campaign is created it becomes available and active (depending upon start / end dates) for integration within the Point of Sales module.

The Create New Campaign form consists of
Description: Description of the new campaign.
Option buttons:
Dealer: Defines that the campaign is a dealer campaign.
A dealer campaign is mainly used for marketing purposes and as a very easy way to send serial letters to customers.
Manufacturer campaigns are mainly sent by the manufacturer with files that are imported via the Import function.
Note: Make sure the Manufacturer is aware that you are creating a new campaign. Especially if warranty claims are involved.
Select Compaines Grid:
Select company: Company number and description.
Select: Click in the Select column to select the company requiredfor the campaign. Click on the Header of the Select column to select all companies at once.
Select Manufacturer Grid:
Select manufacturer: Manufacturer number and description.
Select: Click in the Select column to select the manufacturer required for the campaign. Click on the Header of the Select column to select all manufacturers at once.
Buttons:
OK: Accept the entered and selected information.
Cancel: Cancels the creation of the new campaign.
Help: Displays this help topic in a web browser.
To create a new campaign:
Enter the new campaign description.
Define the type of campaign Dealer or Manufacturer.
Select the company to which the campaign applies by Clicking the required company.
Select the manufacturer from which the campaign has come from by Clicking the required manufacturer.
Clicking the OK button continues the creation of a New campaign and displays the Campaign Tab ready for data entry.
Having maintained the new campaign data entry fields and/or the entry tabs, selecting the Save toolbar option saves the new / maintained campaign.
To delete a campaign:
Having selected the campaign data entry fields, selecting the Delete toolbar option deleted all of the information for the claim from the campaign system.
