Opening an Existing Campaign

The open campaign facility enables the identification and selection of an existing campaign for maintenance purposes.

Open Campaign Form

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Service > Menu - Service campaigns > New service campaigns module > Open Open2.gif toolbar button.

The Open Campaign form consists of

Find vehicle: Search text to enable the locating of a specific vehicle. The number must contain the complete registration or chassis number.

Open campaigns: Defines that only the Open campaigns are to be listed. The grid is populated according to the selection.

Closed campaigns: Defines that only the Closed campaigns are to be listed. The grid is populated according to the selection.

Option buttons:

Grid:

ID: Campaign identification number.

Campaign: Campaign code.

Created: Date campaign created.

Description: Campaign description..

From: Campaign effective from date.

Until: Campaign effective until date.

Vehicles: Number of vehicles associated with the campaign.

Tip: You can sort the diverse columns by clicking on the header. The column is then sorted ascending or descending accordingly.

Buttons:

OK: Accept the selected campaign.

Cancel: Cancels the selection of an existing campaign.

Help: Displays this help topic in a web browser.

Opening and Maintaining a Campaign

To open and maintain a campaign:

  1. Do one of the following (a or b):

    1. Double-click the gridline of the campaign you want to open.

    2. Do the following:

      1. Click to select a gridline of the campaign you want top open

      2. Click OK continues the opening of the existing campaign.

  2. Selecting the Edit Tools.gif toolbar button to maintain the Campaign tab.

  3. Select the Import Import3.gif toolbar button to import manufacturer interface information.

  4. Selecting the Add CreateVehicle.gif, Move or Remove Cross.gif toolbar buttons to Add, Move or Remove vehicles from the Campaign.

  5. Having maintained the new campaign data entry fields and/or the entry tabs, selecting the Save Save.gif toolbar option saves the new / maintained campaign.
