Set up the Sirius claimtypes

The Sirius claim types can be set up in the Servus / Sirius parameters option from the Mercedes-Benz Warranty menu.

The Warranty paramaters & controls screen is opened. All the fields are explained below.

  • Point of Sale company number: The Sirius / Serves parameters are set up per Point of Sale companynumber
  • Type: The type of the claim
  • Description: Description of the claim type
  • Internal numbering: Determine how the claim number will be generated, I= Via the internal claim numbering W = Claimnumber is the WIP number Other values: Claim number is the POS invoice-number.
  • Claim numbering: Enter the claimnumbering
  • Reimbursement: Tick when you expect reimbursement for the claimtype
  • Deletion days: Enter the number of days after which the claim is removed
  • Sirius: Tick when the warranty type is a Sirius type
  • Damage key: Enter a fixed damagekey when it is used
  • Repair type: Enter a fixed repair type when it is used
  • SL accounts with corresponding types: Enter the account and the corresponding type
  • Sirius version: Tick when you want to use the Sirius program

    To create a Sirius claim type you must first select the Point of Sale company number from the table.

    Note: Of course has the account been set up as a warranty account.

    Complete the claimtype and select the Save button to save the claimtype.
