Set up Handling charges
The parameters that make the Handling charges work, are stored in the Vega Retail parameters. You also have to set up the Handling charge table to make it work. Both are explained below.
Partcode handling: The part that is used to invoice the handling charges. Part must exist in the stockfile.
Generate handling: Generate handling charges Yes, No or ask (Question).
Save the parameters by selecting the Save button.
To make the handling charges work, you must:
- Select from the Mercedes-Benz Warranty menu the Vega Handling charges option. The handling charges table is opened.
- Create for every discount code a record, containing the percentage of handling charges that has to be calculated and the start year and month.
- Select the Create button to create a new record.
- Complete the record and select the Save button to save the record.
