The Compress documents option compresses documents at end of day, and produces 20 separate document invoices. The compression creates one file, of one document type per day. The compressed documents are indexed by their company number.
To compress documents:
From the Autoline Master menu, select the Document archive option and the company you require.
The DOCUMENT ARCHIVE menu is displayed.
Select the Compress documents option.
Note: The Compress documents option is usually run at end of day.
The Compress All Uncompressed Documents form is displayed.
Click OK to begin compressing all the uncompressed documents.
When the compression of documents is completed, you are returned to the DOCUMENT ARCHIVE menu.
The Compress All Uncompressed Documents form is displayed when the Compress documents option is selected from the DOCUMENT ARCHIVE menu. From this form you can compress all uncompressed documents.
BUTTONS:
OK: Begins to compress all the uncompressed documents.
Cancel: Returns you to the DOCUMENT ARCHIVE menu.
Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
