You can use this option for two purposes:
To transfer an Asset Record between Asset Classes
To split an Asset Record into two Records within the same Asset Class
On occasion, you may wish to move an Asset Record on the Register from one Asset Class to another. Also, you may wish to split an Asset Record into two - a parent asset and child asset.
The option both for transferring Asset Records between Asset Classes and for splitting Asset Records within the same Asset Class is Asset movement.
To access the Asset movement:
From the Autoline Master menu, select the Asset register option and the company you require.
Select the Asset movement option.
The Special Asset Movements form is displayed.
