Glass's Summary.

The Glass's Valuation option requests recommended value information for a chosen vehicle. You will be taken through four stages and prompted to enter information relating to the following topics:

On completion, the recommended Glass's retail price will be displayed.

Due to the expanding amount of data available form Glass's there may be more than of set of data required e.g. Used car data, Light Commercials or Heavy Commercials. If any of these have been loaded the will show in a small grid, a tick will indicate in the display? box if the data set is available.

Prefix: Letter prefix.

Data Set: Used car, Light Commercials or Heavy Commercials.

Status: Available or Not installed.

Display: A tick confirms which data is displayed.

Extra information:

Displayed within the extra information are details about the car including CC, BHP, number of doors etc.

Mileage adjusted valuations

Displayed within Mileage adjustment valuations are the valuations dependant on mileage and condition. Enter a mileage into the mileage box and tab to locate the valuation. The header of the mileage will be highlighted indicating your value.

Mileage: Vehicle mileage.

Price new: Vehicle price when new.

Trade-in: Trade in price.

Retail price: Vehicle retail price.

These prices are displayed in a grid with two headers:

Standard: Standard value.

Adjusted: Adjusted value.

Mileage: Enter a mileage and tab to get a valuation, these will be displayed under Standard and Adjusted. If no adjusted values are found a message will be displayed in red "No adjustment data available for this vehicle"

Tip: The vehicle prices Price new, Trade-in, Retails price are standard with the Glass's data supplied, it is possible to create your own Condition codes from the main Valuation menu but, any codes created will supercede the previous codes.

To the right of the Mileage adjustment valuations are display Extra information details.
