Condition Code Maintenance

When the valuation database is built the codes listed below are included as standard. They reflect different values per vehicle dependant on age and condition. It is possible to set different conditions matching the requirements of your dealership. These codes are displayed on the Cap Mileage adjusted valuations and the Glass's Mileage adjusted valuations.

Warning: If an new code has been created or one amended when exiting from the condition codes screen you will be prompted to Generate condition overlay .

Condition Codes consists of the following fields:

CAP or Glass?: Use the drop down menu button Drop-down to make your selection.

C - CAP Condition code

G - Glass Condition code

Condition code: The condition code is a numeric code which is used to identify the condition code.

Description: Allows you to enter a description of the condition code.

Cap Condition Codes:

Calculation method: Enter a formula which will allow the system to calculate a valuation figure. To access the valuations use the following:

Examples: An aggregate of Clean and average = (C+A)/2, Below average = B*0.9, Average minus 200 = A-200, Clean value from CAP = C

Glass Condition Codes:

Calculation method: Enter a formula which will allow the system to calculate a valuation figure. To access the Glass's valuation use the following:

Examples: An aggregate of Trade-in and Retails = (T+R)/2, Trade-in less 10% = T*0.9, Trade-in minus 200 = T-200, Trade-in from Glass's = T

Warning: If any price adjustments are created the above code will be superceded.

Buttons:

Exit: Returns to the Valuation main menu.

Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.

Create: Click to create a new option with within this file.

Blank - Click the radio button to create a new code from scratch.

Copy - Click the radio button to create a new code by coping a code that is already loaded.

Delete: Click to delete a pre loaded option.

Warning: You will not be prompted to confirm the deletion, please make sure you are deleting the correct option. Any errors here cannot be easily be rectified.

Confirm / Create: Will only be enabled when in amend or create mode. Confirm creation of new code or confirm is used to save items if amended.

Cancel: Will only be enabled when in amend or create mode.

Adhoc: Displays Adhoc enquiries. This can be used to find information held for the option you are currently using.
