Due to the expanding amount of data available form CAP there may be more than one set of data required for example Used car data, Light Commercials, Heavy Commercials or Motor Cycles. These data sets are installed within the menu option Build CAP database and can be individually used in Autoline or any combination of the four can be loaded each month.

Valuations can be viewed in two modes, these are controlled by a system parameter called Grid format for CAP. Tick the box to display the valuation data in a grid format. If left blank valuation are displayed in a tree format.
To use this data click the required icon this will then open up a tree structure, click on the plus sign to drill into the data provided. Drill into the required data until the registration plate identifier / year are displayed, click against the green arrow that reflects your chosen plate and year, this will tick the option and display the vehicle data on the right hand side of the form.

On entering into the valuation form all of the data is loaded into one grid, dependant on the loaded data sets you may see up to four buttons each relating to a set of data, select relevant button to filter.

Displayed within Mileage adjustment valuations are the valuations dependant on mileage and condition. Enter a mileage into the mileage box and tab to locate the valuation. The header of the mileage will be highlighted indicating your value.
There are six mileage headers they will range between the lowest and highest mileage that the selected vehicle can be valued on.
Tip: The vehicle conditions Clean, Average, Below and CAP Retail are standard with the CAP data supplied, it is possible to create your own Condition codes from the main Valuation menu but, any codes created will supercede the previous codes.
