The features that the Reports and Enquiries menu provide are of three main kinds. These are the facilities of the report generator, those of the Ad-hoc Enquiries option and the pre set reports.

The facilities of the Report generator are common to all Autoline applications. These facilities allow you to create your own reports from any combination of fields on your records.
Any combination of system generated or user entered fields can be used to provide detailed information in reports which you design. Instead of being forced to depend on a few standard reports, you can select the ones that meet your individual day to day requirements, or you can create special reports that will solve particular problems as they arise. A number of reports are already set up on this menu. They perform standard commercial tasks. It is important to note that these reports have themselves been set up with the Report Generator and placed on the menu. You can create and store reports of this complexity yourself using Report Generator.

A powerful and sophisticated set of tools allows specialized enquiries of any module. Enquiries can be formulated using field and verb references.
Reports can be saved for regular use enquiries.
