Delete Closed Agreements Form

The Delete Closed Agreements form is displayed when the Delete closed agreements option is selected from the MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu.

On entry to the screen, the system will ask you for a cutoff date, all agreements which have a hire end date before this time will be deleted from the file. Type in the date the system should use and <TAB>. The following options may be taken

Execute: This will begin the deletion process. When it is complete, the Command line will show how many agreements were deleted, it will then consolidate the file space and rebuild the indexes to the file before returning you to the Miscellaneous menu.

Note: Please be absolutely sure that the date entered on this screen is correct. Once the records are deleted there is no way to retrieve them. Even trying to restore the file from backup is difficult because of the constant real time updating that is taking place within the file. It is strongly recommended that deletion only takes place after a data backup has been carried out.

Exit: This will take you back the Miscellaneous menu without deleting any agreements.
