Selection of the Repairs Tab from the Accident Maintenance screen displays the Repairer Details Record screen.
This screen enables the recording of as many repairs, be they temporary or final, as required against an accident.
This screen is split into four parts that are as follows:
In addition to displaying the screen name the Title Bar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.
The content of the Repairer Details menu bar is as follows:
Save
Saves any data amendments and returns to the Accident Record screen.
Exit
Exits to the Accident Record screen. If any data changes have been made the system prompts " Do you want to save changes to this accident record?". Select the Yes, No or Cancel command button as appropriate.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help screen.

The Repairer Details Dialogue Box contains several data entry fields relevant to the creation of a new accident record. These are as follows:
The registration number of the currently selected vehicle. This field cannot be edited.
The agreement number to which the currently selected vehicle is attached. This field cannot be edited.
The unique sequential system generated accident number. The next accident number is allocated centrally from the System Controls module via the Next Accident Number field. This field cannot be edited.
A unique sequential system generated sequence number.
The name of the garage carrying out the repair.
The address of the garage carrying out the repair. Up to four lines of address may be entered.
The postcode of the garage carrying out the repair
The telephone number of the garage carrying out the repair
The contact name at the garage.
The repair documentation reference number.
The date the repair details are received.
By clicking-on the ellipsis (...) button to the right of either of the date fields a monthly diary screen is displayed in order to assist in establishing the correct date. Selection of the< button moves to the previous month and the > button moves to the next month. Selection of Exit exits the diary screen. A double-click on the appropriate day of the month enters this date into the date field.
The reason for the claim. This field is normally only used for a temporary repair being carried out to make the vehicle mobile. Up to three lines of thirty characters are allowed.
A claim amount can be entered for each of the three Claim Reason lines above.
The total claim amount for the repairs.
Up to ten thirty character note fields in which to expand the details of the repair invoice.
Ten value fields are available (one for each of the Notes lines) for entering the values of the constituent parts of the repair.
The total cost of the repair.
Following entry of the repair details the record is saved. These details are now returned to the Repair Details Grid.
The Repair Details Grid displays a row for all existing repair records held against the currently selected accident. Each row contains the following data columns:
The unique sequential system generated accident number. The next accident number is allocated centrally from the System Controls module via the Next Accident Number field. This field cannot be edited.
The name of the repairing garage.
The total cost of the repairs.
A single-left-click into an existing row in the tab displays the relevant form for the review or editing of the repair accident data.
A single-left-click into the blank row in the tab displays the relevant form for entry of new repair accident data.
