This form is accessed via Vehicle Administration / Service Schedules / Create/Break Schedule Link.
The Create/Break Schedule Link form is displayed which provides the facility to create, or break, a link between a service schedule item and a maintenance approval or POS job.
This option is typically a management tool used to break a link that has been made in error or create a link where one has been missed.
This form is constituted of four elements, which are as follows:
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
The content of the Vehicle Schedule menu bar is as follows:
Exit
Exits the current form and returns to the Service Schedule main menu.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
The content of the Vehicle Schedule toolbar is as follows:
Exits the current form and returns to the Service Schedule main menu.
Displays the Global Review form.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help form.
The Vehicle Schedule Dialogue Box contains the following data:
- Registration Number
On entry to this form the registration or agreement number for the vehicle is required. This may be keyed directly or the Fleet Global Search facility may be invoked by selection of the ellipsis button immediately to the right of this field.
The Vehicle Schedule Dialogue Box then displays two tabs relating to maintenance approvals with regard to the selected vehicle and service schedule items. The following two tabs are displayed:
The Approvals Tab Dialogue Box simply consists of an Approval Grid that displays a review of all approval work that has been carried out against the selected vehicle. The information is shown in summary format and subsequently allows the links to be created, broken and edited.
A single-left-click on an approval line opens the Edit Schedule Link form so that a link with a service schedule item may be broken or created.
The Schedule Tab Dialogue Box simply consists of a Legend and a Schedule Grid that displays a review of the service schedule held against the selected vehicle.
