Selection of the icon from the
Toolbar in the Vehicle Movements screen opens the
Delivery Record screen. This screen may also be accessed from within the
Order Tab within Vehicle Purchasing.
This screen enables the creation and subsequent administration of delivery records for a selected vehicle.
The Collect_deliver checkbox within Repairer Tab of Address Groups must be ticked for this screen to be enabled.
This screen is split into four parts that are as follows:
In addition to displaying the screen name the Title Bar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.
The content of the Delivery Record menu bar is as follows:
Save
Saves data amendments. The system also automatically prompts Do you also want to create a collection? The Yes or No command button is selected as appropriate.
If No is selected then a return to the previous screen is effected
If Yes is selected then the Associated Movement sub-form is displayed. The cursor is located in the Registration Number field. The registration number may be directly keyed into this field or, selection of the ellipsis button immediately to the right of this field presents the Fleet Global Search screen that enables a vehicle to be found by entering search selection criteria.
Note: If a vehicle registration number is entered for a vehicle that is not a current record within the marketing vehicle database then a temporary record is created.
Both the registration number and the full vehicle variant description are returned to the Associated Movement screen. Selection of the Cancel command button at this stage results in a return to the Vehicle Movements screen. Selection of the Create Movement command button results in the display of the Collection Record screen.
Delete
This option only becomes available following creation of the movement record and is used for deleting the current delivery record.
Exit
Exits to the previous screen. If any data changes have been made the system prompts " Do you want to save changes to this movement?". Select the Yes, No or Cancel command button as appropriate.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help screen.

The registration number of the currently selected vehicle. This field cannot be edited.
The agreement number to which the currently selected vehicle is attached. This field cannot be edited.
The Delivery Record Dialogue Box contains data entry fields relevant to the creation of a new delivery movement record. These have been logically distributed over a series of three tabs as follows:
Holds details of the third party agent carrying out the delivery in addition to movement details and the customer address.
Holds details of the address the vehicle is being moved from in addition to the address to which the vehicle is being moved.
Contains miscellaneous other details relating to the driver and special instructions.
