Overview
This enables a new agreement record to be created. The contract may be created manually (via a manual input wizard) or by importing an existing quotation from the Kestrel Quotation system (FQ).
To access the create contract option:
From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.
The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.
Select the Contract Management option.
The Contract Management form is displayed.
Select the 
icon.
The Create Contract form wizard is displayed so that a new agreement may be created by way of either an existing fleet quotation or manual input.
This is the fifth and final form to be displayed within the wizard sequence.
Create Contract (Summary) Dialogue Box
The Create Contract (Summary) Dialogue Box contains the following fields:
Registration: Registration number of the vehicle associated with the selected agreement. This is originally entered on the previous Vehicle form within the wizard.
Customer: The customer's main name and address details are held within the CRM system. This record is then accessed as often as necessary by a company record which contains associated data relating to specific operational areas. The first field contains the company record code (for example, MINERVA) associated with the CRM company record. The second field displays the company name associated with the company record code. This is originally entered on the previous Customer form within the wizard.
Vehicle: Full vehicle variant description imported from the default data source into the Franchise Data module. This is originally entered on the previous Vehicle form within the wizard.
Period: Period over which the lease agreement is taken. The second field denotes the frequency of invoiced regular payments to be made within the agreement. This is originally entered on the previous Contract form within the wizard.
Profile: Short coded form of the rental profile for example, 3/33/2 which is broken down as follows:
Initial: Displays the number of initial rentals for the proposed agreement.
Regular: Displays the number of regular periodic rentals for the proposed agreement.
Start Month: Displays the month (within the contract term) in which payments are due to commence.
These values are originally entered on the previous Contract form within the wizard.
Distance: Proposed annual mileage to be travelled within the contract. This is originally entered on the previous Contract form within the wizard.
