This form enables the repayment, capital or interest funding values to be changed for the funded agreement. Care should be taken when changing values as the system does not verify the totals.

To access the edit finance form:
From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.
The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.
Select the Contract Funding option.
The Contract Funding form is displayed.
Select the icon.
The Finance Agreement Search form is displayed.
Enter the appropriate information to locate the required agreement.
Select the icon.
Select the icon.
The Edit Finance form is displayed.

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.
This area of the form is divided into a series of fields and a postings grid which are as follows:
Schedule
Period: The period over which the repayments are to be made to the Finance House.
Period - Frequency: The frequency repayments are to be made e.g. Monthly ensures monthly budget drips into the accounts)
Profile: Three fields containing the following information: ( Initial Period(s) / Regular Period(s) / Start month). The following grid is an example of what should be entered depending on the frequency:

Summary
Capital: Total capital. This is a calculated field based on the Vehicle Capital and Balloon.
Tip: Capital = Vehicle Capital - Balloon
Interest: Total interest. This is a calculated field based on the Total Repayments, Capital and Balloon.
Tip: Interest = Total Repayments + Balloon - Capital
Balloon: This is the Final Balloon payment per the Finance Agreement.
Postings
Period: The period in which a posting is to be made. 0 (zero) denotes the initial payment and the periods starting with 1 relate to the Regular rentals and Budgets. This field cannot be edited.
Date: The Month and Year the postings are to take place. This field cannot be edited.
Repayment: The required Repayment for the given Period. A single-left-click on any unposted row enables this field to be edited via the Edit Posting form.
Capital: The Capital value for the given Period. This value is calculated using the Basis contained within the selected Posting Table. A single-left-click on any unposted row enables this field to be edited via the Edit Posting form.
Interest: The Interest value for the given Period. This value is calculated using the Basis contained within the selected Posting Table. A single-left-click on any unposted row enables this field to be edited via the Edit Posting form.
