Contract Funding

Overview

This form is displayed when you select xxxxxx Selection of the Contract Funding from the Fleet Kompact Main Menu opens the main Contract Funding form from which various aspects of the currently selected finance agreement may be viewed or edited by way of the series of tabs or via the Tools menu.

To access the Contract Funding form:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.

    The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Contract Funding option.

    The Contract Funding form is displayed.

File > New New Displays the Create New Funding Agreement form which prompts for the appropriate funding details for the new agreement.
File > Open Open Displays the Finance Agreement Search form which enables an agreement to be located via predetermined selection criteria.
File > Close Close Exits to the Contract Funding main menu.
File > Edit Edit Places the currently selected finance agreement in edit mode in order that existing details may be modified.
File > Clone Clone Enables the currently selected agreement to be used as the source from which to clone additional finance agreements using the Finance Funding Cloning process.
File > Recent recent.gif Displays the last 10 finance agreements that have been accessed by the current user.
File > Save Save If the finance agreement has been in edit mode and any details modified then this option saves any modifications that have been made.
File > Properties Displays the agreement Properties form which contains a full audit of the agreement details.
File > Exit Exit Exits to the Contract Funding form
Tools > Change Status status.gif Displays the Change Funding Status form which is used to change the status of the funded agreement for example, before any Rental invoicing or Budget posting can take place the contract must be made Live.
Tools > Post Post.gif The Create Postings facility is used to create postings for the funded agreement for a given period(s). Before any Rental invoicing or Budget posting can take place the contract must be made Live.
Tools > Edit Funding Editfund.gif Displays the Edit Finance form. The repayment, capital or interest funding values can be changed for the funded agreement here. Care should be taken when changing values as the system does not verify the totals.
Tools > Delete Deletes the currently selected funding agreement. Only agreements that do not have any entries in FK.trans and are at Pending status can be deleted. This option is not enabled if the agreement has a Live or Terminated status. The system prompts fot verification that the agreement is to be deleted.
Reports > reports.gif This menu option provides access to a number of reports (and Quick Mail - a pre-defined email relevant to the specific area from which it is accessed). Once written within RepGen an [...] button may be used to located and select these reports for inclusion within this menu list within the appropriate area column in the Quick Reports Tab within Fleet Kompact / System Maintenance / System Parameters. The required email format for inclusion in this menu list is defined within ??? Quick Mail field (where ??? denotes the appropriate area).
Admin > Administrator admin.gif Accesses Administrator mail and diary functions.
Admin > CRM crm.gif Accesses the CRM module and its associated Company, Customer and Vehicle records.
Help > Help Provides online access to context sensitive help for the current application using the default browser.
