Note: If the Use Fleet Quotes Module checkbox in the General Tab of System Parameters (which denotes that the Fleet Kompact module is to be used in conjunction with the Fleet Quotations module) is unticked then the following three additional tabs are displayed within system parameters enabling input of information that would otherwise have been defined with the Fleet Quotations module. These tabs are RFL Details, Heavy RFL and Product Descriptions.
This tab stores all of the RFL values relating to vehicles classified as Heavy.
To access the Heavy RFL Tab:
From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.
The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.
Select the System Maintenance option.
The System Maintenance menu is displayed.
Select the System Parameters option.
Select the Heavy RFL Tab.
The following fields are displayed:
Code: Enter a unique alpha/numeric code of up to 10 characters. This can be user defined but it is advised that the DVLA coding convention is used.
Description: A description associated with the RFL code (up to 30 characters). This can be user defined but it is advised the DVLA description is used.
Capitalised: A decision must be made whether to reduce the amount of capital financed by the 1st Year RFL value (in the knowledge that this amount will be recouped from the customer at a later date) or, to finance the vehicle inclusive of the 1st Year RFL amount. Selection of this checkbox results in the inclusion of the 1st Year RFL amount within the financed capital.
Period: The part RFL period (this should be set to 6 months.
Part Fee: The currnt prevailing rate for part RFL fee.
Period: The full RFL period (this should be set to 12 months.
Full Fee: The currnt prevailing rate for the full RFL fee.
Reg Fee Capitalised: A decision must be made whether to reduce the amount of capital financed by the Registration Fee value (in the knowledge that this amount will be recouped from the customer at a later date) or, to finance the vehicle inclusive of the Registration Fee amount. Selection of this checkbox results in the inclusion of the Registration Fee amount within the financed capital.
Regn Fee: The current prevailing rate for the initial registration fee.
