Update a Company default record

Overview

This process details how to update the Customer defaults record from within a quotation.

Update a Company default record

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Quotations option and Company required.

    The Quotations Main Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Quotations option.

    The Quotation formis displayed but currently disabled.

  3. Select the New icon.

    The Quotation Search form is displayed.

  4. Locate the required quotation by entering the appropriate selection criteria and select the File Search icon.

    A list of quotation records matching the required selection criteria is displayed in the Quotations grid in the bottom half of the form.

  5. Select the required quotation with a double-left-click of the mouse.

    The full enabled quotation form is displayed for the required quotation.

    Tip: A maximum of 17 records matching the selection criteria can be immediately displayed within the form. Use the scroll bar to view additional matching records (if applicable) or, alternatively, narrow the selection criteria down further to reduce the list of matching records.

  6. Select the revcust.gif icon immediately to the right of the Company field.

    The Customer Review form is displayed.

  7. Select the CRM.gif icon.

    The CRM My Desktop form is displayed.

  8. Within the Find Record field enter all or part of the name of the company for which the defaults are to be updated.

  9. Select the TAB key.

    The CRM Search form is displayed.

  10. Single-left-click the required company from the Search Results list box.

  11. Select the Load command button.

  12. Select the Edit icon.

  13. Select the Company Options menu.

  14. Select the Fleet Details menu option.

    The Quotation Defaults form is displayed.

  15. Select the required tab on which the default field resides e.g. Quotations.

  16. Update the required default field value e.g. update the VRB % passed on field to be 100.
