This form is displayed if the FRV Adjustment icon is selected within the Quotations form and enables the 3rd party data supplier (e.g. CAP) residual value to be adjusted and a rental hire group vehicle category to be selected or edited. Selection of this vehicle category utilises the associated Fleet reduction in CAP value % FRV safety factor percentage associated with this vehicle category (defined within the Mark To Market CAP Valuation form).
To access the FRV Adjustment:
From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Quotations option and Company required.
The Fleet Quotations Menu is displayed.
Select the Quotations option.
The Quotations form is displayed.
Select the 
icon to locate
an existing quotation (or, alternatively create a new quotation).
The Quotation Search form is displayed.
Use the required appropriate selection criteria to locate the required quotation and select it.
The required quotation is now displayed.
Select the 
icon.
The FRV Adjustment form is displayed.
This form is divided into three parts that are as follows:
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.
The FRV Adjustment dialogue box contains the following fields:
CAP Value: The original initial third party (CAP) data supplier Residual Value.
Vehicle Category (Fleet reduction in CAP value): The calculated FRV safety factor value associated with the selected vehicle category (defined within the Mark To Market CAP Valuation form). This is a read only field.
Vehicle Category (Fleet reduction in CAP value %): The FRV safety factor percentage associated with the selected vehicle category (defined within the Mark To Market CAP Valuation form). This is a read only field.
Vehicle Category: The Vehicle Rental Hire Group vehicle category (set up within Daily Rental / Miscellaneous Options / Hire Groups and allocated to a vehicle within the CRM Rental Vehicle record (MK.drveh).
FRV Adjustment (Value Adjustment): Enables a manual value adjustment to be made to the CAP RV in addition to the safety factor adjustment value)
FRV Adjustment (% Adjustment): Enables a manual percentage adjustment to be made to the CAP RV in addition to the safety factor adjustment value)
Quoted FRV: The final quoted residual value taking in to account any adjustments.
Reason: Enables entry of a reason for making the manual RV adjustment.
COMMAND BUTTONS:
OK: Confirms any information that is entered and returns the new or edited data to the quotation.
Cancel: Returns to the Quotation form..
Help:Displays online context-sensitive help using the default browser.
