Source of Business Codes

These codes appear on both Company and customer records in the crm (Customer Relationship Management) module and enable you to keep a record of how individuals became aware of your dealership. On selecting this option you are presented with a standard column form where you can amend or delete existing codes or create additional ones.

Source of Business Codes Form

The Source of business form is displayed when you select the Source of business codes option from the CRM Miscellaneous Options Menu. Further explanation of the functionality of the forms is available from the column form link in related topics.

The Source of business record has two fields both of which appear on company or customer records these are.

Source code: The source code is a three character identifier for the code that you are creating.
Description: this field allows you up to twenty characters of text to describe what the source of business code is to be used for.
