System Controls

The SC system controls provides status information for each stock location within the stock check file. This information can be used to ascertain the current number of pages that are in use and what type of stock check is in progress (if any).

To access the SC system controls:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Stock checking option and the Company you require.

    You are prompted for the Stock Location.

  2. Select the Stock Location.

    The STOCK CHECKING menu is displayed.

  3. Select the System maintenance option.

    The SC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.

  4. Select the System controls option.

    The SC System Controls form is displayed.

System Controls Form

The Systems Control Form is displayed when the System controls option is selected from the SC SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE menu.

Warning: The system controls are maintained by the system and should not normally be edited.

Company field: This defaults to the currently selected company.

Details Tab

There are nine sets of controls, one set for each stock location, with four statuses available within each set as follows:

Status: Field summary:

Current pages: Last page number of the current check list

Rough sheets: Quantity of rough sheets in progress

Merged: This check box is updated by the system to indicate whether the Merge rough sheets option has been run.

PUSH BUTTONS:

Help: Displays help on the current application in your default browser

Save: Saves changes to the record

Cancel: Returns you to the SC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu
