Merging Rough Sheets

Warning: This routine can only be run once, so extreme caution must be exercised as to when it is run.

If any items not included on the pre-printed stock check sheets have been entered onto rough sheets, and these quantities have not been transferred to any other count sheets where the part was found to be missing (that is to say, the stock was found in the wrong bin location), this option copies the lines input as rough sheet data into the main stock check file.

Note: It is essential to do this before updating the stock file and completing the stock check procedure.

To merge rough sheets:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Stock checking option and the Company you require.

You are prompted for the stock location.

  2. Select the Stock Location.

The STOCK CHECKING menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Merge rough sheets option.

The Merge Rough Sheets into Check File form is displayed.

  4. Click the Merge button.
