The Unit of Purchase and Unit of Issue are held on the Prices tab of every stock record. A Unit of Measure may not be entered on the stock record unless it already exists in the Units of Measure file. Standard functionality exists that allows you to create and maintain records on the file.
To access Units of Measure:
The STOCK MANAGEMENT menu is displayed.
Select the Miscellaneous options option and click OK.
The SM MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.
Select the Units of measure option.
The Units of Measure form is displayed.
The Units of Measure form is displayed when you select the Units of measure option from the SM MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu. From this form you can create and maintain Units of Measure.
Unit of measure: A measure of a unit i.e. DRUM, EACH, LTR, etc.
Unit factor: The unit quantity.
Editable on order: Is the unit is editable on a purchase order? Yes or No.
