This feature, which is available on all modules of the system, allows the System Administrator to either prevent users from gaining access to the Point-of-Sale module, or if that has already been carried out, to allow them access once again.
It can also be used to display a list of users currently logged into Point-of-Sale, possibly prior to deciding whether or not to prevent any further access, or to clear the Point-of-Sale control file of any users who at one time logged into the system but did not log out correctly, and have left a corresponding entry in the control file.
To prevent/allow access, display users or clear illegal users:
The POINT OF SALE menu is displayed.
Select the System maintenance option.
